Munster Championships in Tralee
The second stage of the Munster championships will be held in Tralee on Sunday Nov 8th and we hope to have teams entered in all age groups. This championship will be for under 9,11,13,15,17,19. We will also be entering teams for the Munster B championships in these age groups and this event will be held at a Tipperary venue later in the month. The following have been entered for Tralee. The first race will get under way at twelve noon. West Waterford will have a big number of athletes at these championships and after the great performance we saw at the two sessions of the county championships and the first session of the Munster Championships many of our athletes can expect to be among the individual, club and county medal winners. There will be individual medals for the first twelve athletes across the line and three club teams and three county team prizes in each race. Under 11 and upward can qualify for the All Ireland. The first twelve athletes will qualify to represent Munster and the first four club teams and three county teams will also qualify for the All Ireland to be held in Derry in early December. If you are traveling by car or are unable to take part please let us know at training this week.

Training Starts at 4pm
Now that the clocks have changed back and the evenings are darker we have reverted to our 4pm training time. We will meet on Wed and Fridays in the Friary at 4pm. On Wednesdays we will continue with the Easons Winter Cross Country League check out your team on the notice board at training.
