Another Record Breaking Walk from Kate Veale
The first section of the Munster club indoor championships took place in Nenagh last weekend. Kate Veale continued her dominance of juvenile walking with another great win in the under 16 girls 1500m walk in a record time of 6m 15secs. Well done Kate who was our only competitor in action on Saturday.
Munster Schools Cross Country
On Thursday next the local schools will all be in action at the Munster Schools Cross Country in Tramore racecourse. The first event will get under way at 12.30. There will be eight races in all. The first fifteen and the first three teams in the Junior, Intermediate and Senior races will qualify for the all Ireland finals which this year will take place in Belfast. Best of luck to all the West Waterford athletes who will be competing with their schools on Thursday.
