Busy Week Ahead as Track and Field Season Gets into Full Swing

Wednesday next April 25th sees the start of the Track and Field season when the Waterford Colleges will take place on the track in Waterford. This event is open to all second level schools in the county. There will be a full programme of events at Minor and Junior level and intermediates and Seniors will compete together. Over the past number of years the standard has been very high in this event with many Waterford athletes going on to record wins at Munster and All Ireland and next week should see the pattern continue. West Waterford athletes will represent the local schools at this event and should enjoy considerable success.
